For all Audi TT models, the instrument cluster is very common unit to fail. Failure of the fuel and/or temperature gauge and chattering gauges are the common faults found with the earlier 1998 – 2006 instrument cluster. Complete loss of digital display or complete dash failure are also found in the instrument cluster.
