Mercedes Turbo Problems
Turbo Actuator failure is a common fault found in a few Mercedes models including the E220, E270 & E320 (W211) years 2002 onwards. The fault causes the engine to lose power intermittently but usually will rectify itself if the engine is turned off and restarted after it has cooled down. If the ignition is not cycled to reset it, the engine will often be forced to go into a limp home mode state.
This fault can become a permanent issue over time, even though it begins intermittently, it will drastically affect the usability of the vehicle.
