This Corsa (D) ABS pump is a very common part to fail for the entire Vauxhall Corsa range built between 2006 and 2014, The most common issue is complete lack of braking effort to the front left brake caliper, This will cause the vehicle to pull to the right under braking. This can obviously be very dangerous if braking in an emergency as the car can swerve and become unstable.
When diagnosing the problem you will have noticed that no brake fluid is reaching the left side front brake caliper so it will not be possible to bleed the caliper. The cause of this issue is a known internal fault within the ABS pump, this is a manufacturing defect so unfortunately no amount of bleeding or flushing the system will rectify the issue.
If replacing the ABS pump with a new one from Vauxhall main dealer it can be a very expensive option. Also you will only get a 1-year warranty on the new part.
We are are delighted to be able to offer a full rebuild service your own Corsa ABS pump for a fraction of the cost of a new unit from dealers.
We are also able to supply a fully remanufactured replacement unit directly from stock (when available).
Both options above come with our unlimited mileage 2 year warranty.
